The Case of The Scream in The Smog & Other Stories is the sixth volume of shorter mysteries to feature the group, wherein they must solve peculiar problems posed by their colourful array of clients, such as: the origins of a terrifying scream in London’s dense smog, how a lightkeeper could disappear without a trace, and what Society member Mr Callahan Skinner is hiding. These are just some of the issues which must be addressed to expose the truth behind these bizarre cases.
